Our New and Improved Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport Passenger Terminal:

The passenger terminal at Billy Bishop Toronto City airport was constructed in 2010, and today now features comfortable lounges for all domestic and international passengers and offering unparalleled views of Toronto’s unique and striking city skyline.

Nieuport Aviation has invested in a massive terminal upgrade to accommodate the 2.8 million passengers now choosing the airport every year, which is up from 1.5 million in 2010. Specifically, we have added more than 12,000 square feet in newly designed lounges with modern and contemporary décor, as well as more comfortable seating and improved business stations for an exceptional traveller experience. We also now offer new high-quality and locally inspired food, beverage and shopping options for passengers.

These upgrades and other improvements, including reconfiguring the terminal to accommodate the anticipated new U.S. preclearance facility, represent an important long-term investment in Toronto’s essential transportation infrastructure.

Nieuport Aviation is proud to be a partner of PortsToronto and the airport’s airline carriers in enhancing Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport’s position as one of the best regional airports in the world.

Now available at Billy Bishop Airport are restaurants and retail stores in the passenger lounges with enormous selection. The restaurant menus feature great, local flavours for dining in or grab-and-go, and the stores carry popular Canadian products for everyone. Passengers will be sure to experience the familiar feeling of friendliness, customer service and hospitality – all with a promise of so many new options!

Serving all day, Balzac’s Coffee Roasters have been a staple in Southern Ontario’s café scene since 1996. We are proud to be offering their thoughtfully and responsibly sourced products, whether it’s a precision crafted neat expresso, Americano, hand brewed, batch brewed, iced coffee or more! Balzac’s food offer is a variety of delicious, freshly made pastries delivered straight from local bakeries, as well as hot paninis for guests yearning for a bit more of a filling bite for their travels.

Market@416 is a new restaurant featuring the heart and soul of the local Toronto experience with unique flavours, Ontario craft beers and more. Passengers will be able to sit in the lounge and ‘call’ for service from the comfort of their own seat using new touch pads.

Serving all day, OBISPO has a mix of local and Mediterranean flavours and epicurean delights designed to enchant and attract travellers’ taste buds with great plates. It’s a welcoming, relaxed ambiance with super-fast service or food to take on-the-go, as well as a great selection of beer, wine and signature cocktails. Toronto-based Chef Grant van Gameren was pleased to have been brought on board by SSP Canada to help create this menu. Based on a traveller’s desire for delicious, health-conscious, easy grab-and-go meals, they developed a simple menu of sandwiches and healthy bowls that emphasize fresh, wholesome ingredients with a few guilty pleasures.

New retail shops carry convenience essentials, gifts and souvenirs that are reflective of our city and region, as well as a Duty-Free store that offers the luxury of Toronto’s cosmopolitan culture with an assortment of beauty products, confections, liquors and spirits.
