TORONTO, ON (September 8, 2021) – Nieuport Aviation is pleased to welcome travellers back to the passenger terminal at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (BBTCA) as airline partners resume scheduled passenger flights from YTZ.

A safe, comfortable and successful return to passenger air travel from Toronto City Airport is Nieuport’s number one priority. Thanks to these measures, YTZ has been certified safe for travel as part of the Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Health Accreditation program (AHA), ensuring passengers can feel confident about returning to the airport and travelling once again.

The Safe Travels Stamp is an international symbol designed to allow travelers to recognize governments and companies around the world, which have adopted health and hygiene, standardized protocols – so consumers can experience ‘Safe Travels’.

“Congratulations to Nieuport Aviation on obtaining your Safe Travels Stamp. Tourism businesses across Canada are looking to help citizens rediscover their country when local government restrictions on gatherings and operations are lifted; the Safe Travels Stamp is an excellent way to ensure the consumer feels safe and comfortable when doing so. When they see the ‘Safe Travels Stamp’ has been awarded to the destination or business, they will know that they are upholding the highest standards of health and safety and demonstrating they are adhering to the global health protocols issued by the WTTC.” - Chris Bloore, TIAO President & CEO
