TORONTO, ONTARIO – A new Pilot has officially landed at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Today marks the opening of Pilot Coffee Roasters in the airport’s transborder lounge, bringing one of Toronto’s most celebrated specialty coffee brands to travellers heading south of the border. The opening was marked with a special launch event, where passengers travelling through the transborder lounge were surprised with complimentary coffee and pastries to mark the occasion.

Today’s announcement represents another milestone in Nieuport Aviation’s ongoing investment in enhancing the traveller experience in the terminal at Billy Bishop Airport. Passenger feedback has played a central role in shaping improvements to terminal amenities, including the expansion of high-quality food and beverage offerings.

Located post-security in the transborder lounge, Pilot Coffee offers travellers a premium, locally rooted coffee experience before takeoff. Known for its direct trade sourcing philosophy and expertly roasted beans, Pilot Coffee’s arrival ensures passengers can enjoy a thoughtfully crafted cup of coffee as part of a seamless and elevated journey through the terminal.
